I'm stuck like glue!

So, the Vocations Director in my diocese told me to get a degree in Philosophy at the royal University here, then apply to go to Seminary. I know there has to be more than this. What about spiritual counselling…anything? That can NOT possibly be how one becomes a Priest. Any chap could do that…how do I know I’m called, genuinely. Am I assigned a spiritual director in seminary?
 
You are assigned an SD in the seminary, but it would be good to find one on your own in the meantime while you are at university to help you discern and to grow in your faith. Your vocation director or the diocese does not have to provide you an SD at this time.
