I'm suffering from sexual sins

Hello fellow Catholic friends here at CAF. I’ve been struggling with sexual sins for the past probably 3 weeks. Please pray for me, I’m a 20 year old guy and struggling with this. I’m very close to the Church but still I am suffering from this sin.

Also, can you suggest me Saints who can help me with this sin?
 
Prayer to St. Jude (patron saint of impossible causes):

St. Jude, glorious Apostle,
faithful servant and friend

Also, pray to the Blessed Virgin often, that she may be a mother to you. The Blessed Virgin’s intercession is powerful.
 
In addition I’d suggest the little office.
Persevere, confess each fall, never give up.

The struggle is real. And it seems the more we strive to resist, the more the temptation persists. My ’ go-to’. Is Saint Michael the Archangel and here is his prayer. Also, if you wear a crucifix get it blessed by a priest. I wear one and a tiny medal of Saint Benedict and Saint Michael

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend me in battle. Be my safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou oh Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the earth seeking the ruin of souls, Amen

May I also suggest asking Saint Joseph to help you. After all, although he was Mary’s husband she remained a virgin. That’s the kind of strength you need right now.

I am also 20YO and I struggled with pornography and masturbation from 12YO to 19YO. If these are your struggles, private message me and I can give you advice.

Prayed for you. Since you are very close to the church I am not surprised why the evil forces are targeting you. When the temptation comes again, I think it would greatly help if you imagine the images of devils goading you and cheering you to do the deed, and with every ounce of your strength, say: “away from me, Satan, I belong to the LORD!” Almost daily, I pray that GOD would strengthen and protect me from evil, and this prayer really works. Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel and your guardian angel will also help. GOD bless.
 
For starters, don’t be too hard on yourself. I don’t know exactly what your sins are, but it’s clear that you were born into a world where sexual temptation is everywhere. That doesn’t make it alright for you to give into these temptations, but it does make it understandable. I’m just pointing that out because too many young guys become terribly frustrated when they discover they’ve walked into this trap and that it’s hard to get out of. You didn’t set the trap; this deceptive world did.

Second, as you’re discovering, the fact that you’re close to the Church doesn’t in and of itself protect you from temptation. In fact, the Devil takes a special interest in those who are pure of heart, or are trying to be. So don’t be puzzled if these temptations stick with you for while, perhaps a long while. Faith and intense prayer will ultimately defeat your demons (sexual and otherwise), but in the short run (and even the medium run) the demons might put up one hell of a fight.

Third, you mention that you’ve been struggling with this for 3 weeks. That’s very short, so I’m guessing the temptation depends on certain circumstances. Stay away from those circumstances if you can. If you need to make a big change in order to do that (e.g. move house, change jobs), that might be worth it.

As for saints who will helps with this sin: all do. Pick one, or ten, or all of them, and pray. Don’t expect quick results. Sexual temptation is a huge thing to overcome, and it may well take you the better part of your life to overcome it. Again: don’t be too hard on yourself. Keep the faith, and keep up the prayers, and avoid the near occasion of sin.

I pray that you bless Arnold and guide him in this difficult time.
Pour your holy spirit on him, so that he is protected from these temptations.
Mother Mary, intercede for your child, so that he doesn’t go astray.
