I too suffer from inexplicable anxiety that can be crippling.
Sometimes it seems all I can do is suffer, prayers will not even come. I can’t focus on them, I can’t complete them.

My prayer is simply

“Jesus, I am kneeling at the foot of your cross suffering with you”.

I leave myself there and let his sweat and blood fall on me. I know his Sorrowful Mother is there adoring Him, and she is praying the prayers I cannot speak.

Lord have mercy on us, help us see your will in our daily sorrows and joys.
 
The hardest part of anxiety for me is the loss of sleep. The loss of sleep turns anxiety into a crisis.

I asked God to take this cross from me. What he gave me was suffering, so that my patience and endurance might be edified. The more I began to simply accept the suffering, the more bearable and peaceful it became. It’s a paradox. The more I fight it and try to avoid it, the worse it is.
God will allow me to sleep when he wills it, and I discovered that if I am not sleeping, my task is to suffer with Christ. He will take care of the rest.
