Do you mean it is treated water as it is from the main water supply,. so it has been purified by chlorine or whatever they use nowadays? Yes, that’s true. No salt is added by the parish, though.From chemistry view it has…doubt they use distiller or purificator![]()
I use them too.Our parish ran out of the standard bottles made and printed with designs for Holy Water, so until the new shipment arrived, we used medication bottles donated by a parishioner-pharmacist. I found that actually worked out really well - the child proof lid prevents leaks and spills, the amber color reduces light penetration for growth of unwanted organisms, easy travel, etc. Most of the pharmacies around us would give away a single unlabeled empty bottle if asked.
