Pete,
I’ll say a prayer for your family. I can relate to the spina bifida, my son(with SB) is 23. I can’t relate to the cancer. I am at my wits end a lot with my son and my in-laws interfering…I really butt heads with my son right now.

They always say God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, we just wish he didn’t trust us so much. I don’t know where I’d be without my faith and I’m sure that holds you together as well.

I hope today is a good day. I’ll add your family to my Divine Mercy Chaplet.

In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles and sorrows,
Jesus, help me!

When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good come from my efforts,
Jesus, help me!

When others fail me, and Thy grace alone can assist me,

When I throw myself on Thy tender love as Father and Savior,

When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me,
