just as the Passover is celebrated as the participation in the first Passover , the Eucharist is celebrated as the participation of the Last Supper, the beginning of Jesus Sacrifice.

its not a symbol of the sacrifice

its not a new sacrifice

its a participation in the Sacrifice which started at the Last supper
