I'm very worried! Can you help?

hello everyone …
well i’ve been having this same problem, over a few years now , i keep having blasphemous thoughts over n over again , although i really think they r unvoluntary , i really do not have controle over them … anyways i tried confessing many times, and priests keep making me feel better telling me that i havent committed the unforgivable sin etc etc …

but recently , i was reading an article about possession by demons … and it mentioned things about having hate thoughts concerning jesus n the virgin marry, it got me so worried that i had to go talk to a priest right away , wich reassured me a bit .
i really need help … i really think there is noway i can possessed cuz i really love jesus .
probably wut they meant in this article is voluntary hate thoughts or something …all i know is the thoughts i have r not voluntary , and r not really thoughts of hate , i would just say thoughts that r impure … the idea of being possessed is really terrifying me , and at the same seems to be outta of the questions cuz i really do beleive in jesus !

Hi,

You obviously have a problem with scruples. Have you ever heard of obsessive compulsive behavior? This is what your uncontrollable thoughts are. It’s a psychological thing. It’s a cross that the Lord has chosen for you. You are certainly not possessed.
