A saint so great they were at the foot of the cross…

Imagine this… a saint so great, they believed Jesus promise to rise from the dead so they waited at the tomb for Him.

This great Saint is Mary Magdalene.

So why don’t we ever hear anything about her?!
Why have the lies about her being a prostitute have continued this long?!
Why has it taken the church 2000 years to finally make July 22nd a feast day?!

Please pray that this great Saint be given more attention and the respect she deserves!

forgive us Mary Apostle to the Apostles.
 
Lord in memory of this cherished saint of conversion, please grant conversion to those in need of conversion.

Praying with all. She did not abandon Jesus, along with John. She was the first to see the risen Lord.

Mary Magdalene is not the same as the Mary in the story of Mary Martha and Lazarus that is a misconceptions, she also was not a prostitute and it is a stretch to say she is the Mary that kissed Jesus feet and anointed them with oil. These ideas came from an early Pope in the Catholic church, I dont know his name sorry. Maybe one of the problems is there ar too many Mary’s in the NT and it’s easy to confuse some. But my point is I think some were purposefully confused to make her look like less than a saint and that is what has me so upset!

Her feast day (finally a feast day placed by Pope Francis) is July 22, lets all show her our love and ask for her forgiveness for how the church has treated her for all these years, and ask for her prayers!
