Imitation of Christ

I have two copies. One was my grandmother’s and one was my father’s given to him when he became a Catholic in the service.

I get alot of good food for thought and meditation from this book.

What does the church think of this book? I don’t hear of it very often at all.

Love this book! Whenever I find myself being too much a part of this world, this book helps me focus on much better things and on a much better person - Christ!
 
It’s a wonderful book. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (the Little Flower) considered it among her favorite spiritual reading.
 
It is a wonderful book. I recommend reading one meditation each day.
 
For St. Theresa of Lisieux, The Imitation of Christ was her favorite book, 2nd only to the Bible.

I have the older version with the old English, thees and thous.

I usually read a chapter at randum, during my hour of adoration at the Chapel, each week.
