Hi everyone

I had this vivid dream last night that I had some kind of disease that I needed to stay in the sun or else I would had hard time breathing, that’s why I chased the sun throught out the world then I stumbled into a place where immaculate conception was being celebrated so I stopped for a while and did my prayers but then I got left behind by the sun and I couldn’t breathe, after that I woke up in shocked and I had this wierd feeling ever since.

Can anyone explain to me what it means?

It’s just a wierd dream. It doesn’t mean anything. Sometimes I have really strange dreams and try to figure out where they were headed, but they don’t mean anything.
PS: welcome to the Catholic Answers Forums.

Do you have problems breathing when you’re awake? Asthma? Sleep apnea?

Yes, What On The Hill just posted. Think about having a complete physical work up. Otherwise, the dream was probably a nice dream. Do get a checkup. Peace

What did you eat before having the dream? Sometimes, the things we eat settle the wrong way and cause strange dreams.

Or your subconscious mind is trying to sort through things you’re worried about in your waking hours.

Sometimes, dreams are just dreams. I am on mondo drugs to prevent infection due to transplant rejection issues. Also steroids for almost 4 years. You wanna hear some dreams???

Greetings of peace!
It is a very good dream you know because in my own interpretation it tells you that you should dedicate your life to the Blessed Mother and by this way you can Mary would bring you to her Son,Jesus Christ in your dream He is the sun because His power heals all of us but pray to Mary to prevent the destruction of your faith.I think you must pray for yourself and the whole world to Mary and she will ask her Son about it.If I am the one who had dream of this I would feel a overflowing joy and a sligth fear. This can mean nothing to others but this is a unforgettable memory for you to remember to always pray and ask for Mary’s intercession.I will pray for you.

As Scrooge said , “You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato. "

Dreams are personal to the person having the dream. They can be influenced by many things, including physical aspects and conditions of the dreamer (what you ate, what drugs you’re on, do you have a breathing problem, did you need to use the bathroom etc) and also the mental thoughts and anxieties of the dreamer (what are you worried about, is there a problem you’re trying to solve etc). Additionally, some dreams might possibly contain some inspiration from God.

It’s extremely difficult for relative strangers to attempt to decode your personal dream. You would do well to think and pray about it yourself and decide what it signifies to you.

When I was about 10 years old I had a dream that I was laughing. I couldn’t stop myself from laughing, and every time I laughed I started to choke like I was being suffocted. 15 years later I was diagnosed as asthmatic, which I’m pretty sure I’d had my whole life but didn’t realize.
