Immigrants in Europe

I just want to know your opinions about the immigrants in Europe.

Mosly they are African or Arabian. And mostly they are Muslims. And we can’t be sure if they are planning and waiting for the opportunity to make Europe to Eurabia.

The Crusade was launched for Jerusalem’s freedom. But there were those times when the Crusades fought in Spain as they try to eliminate Muslims since they want to spread their Islam.

Does this mean that all the efforts of the Crusade (and all those who helped ban muslims in Europe) are wasted?
Can’t the government see this happening?

I pray for Europe not to succumb into mohammad’s cult. I don’t want to see it.

Yeah…this is not a question it’s a reason to air your limited understanding of history. Colonialism is one part of the equation.

Your statements strongly echo the argument that “Judeo-Christian” civilization is under attack, which is grass completely processed by a cow. Jews weren’t really even welcomed in the anywhere 100 years ago and the west attempted to kill them off, so you can remove the Judeo. On the Christian side, Europeans have had troubles sustaining their own native populations, both in killing themselves off in major wars and an unsustainable birth rate. Immigration is inevitable and will change the character of these countries.

It’s true that Europe’s fertility level is below replacement level. The only hope of survival is in immigration. Will that change the European culture into something else entirely? Yes, I’m sure it will. Europe has already rejected its Christian culture and history. What it will become is anybody’s guess.

I’m not sure Europe is in for dire changes, it will probably resemble the US, Canada, etc. just with a stronger emphasis on certain native populations. I’ve spent plenty of time in Europe. Yes there are places where immigrant integration has not been very successful, segregation by poverty is frequently the issue. But I’ve also seen highly integrated people of different origins fluent in the local language and customs. In the end, especially in developed countries, intermarriage will make most of us look basically the same.

Those that like to be alarmist (or blatantly racist) lack perspective. Westerners have been quite happy to colonize, appropriate, enslave, and control when it suited their purposes. Now that the rest of the world wants to come and change our world, we cry no fair.

In the Netherlands where I live 95% of the locals stopped believing in Jesus a long time ago, ‘muslim invasion’ or not. If anyone destroyed our faith we, the dutch, have done it ourselves.

In the city where i live 75% of the children born today is muslim. For the Netherlands as a whole its pushing 50%. Yes islam is going to be the biggest religion in europe, but i would not like to go back to the times of the crusades. Everyone who is on the run for war is welcome to come here imo and we should help each other instead of making war.

It sounds like you are saying that Netherlands is already on its way to becoming a Muslim nation. No need for a crusade or war, since Christianity has already been rejected, and Europ;e is on its way to becoming Islamic.

Westerners have certainly oppressed Jews from time to time, but it has not been the way you describe it. Who was the Treasury Secretary of the Confederacy? (Judah Benjamin, a Jew) Who was the first Jewish Prime Minister of England? (Benjamin Disraeli-1874) When was the first Jew appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court? (Louis Brandeis-1916). What city has the world’s largest Jewish population? (New York City)

While it might not seem so to some, the U.S. is fortunate in that most of its immigrants are Hispanics. They are Christian and their culture is fundamentally western. Europe is not so fortunate.

Please factor in your own seemingly skewed and myopic view of history. Lepanto. The Martyrs of Otranto. The numerous and unrelenting invasions of the west. And, this is limited only to the Ottomans. Other Muslim forces invaded and conquered eastward, ranging from Afghanistan to India to Indonesia and Southeast Asia as far as the Philippines. Violent Muslim forces are a major threat in sub-Saharan Africa as we speak, and modern use of the term “terrorism” is correctly applied to describe post-WW II Muslim violence. Islam has a founding and a history of extreme violence and rapid expansion. To ignore this is ultimately to be subject to it.

Well I believe we were happy to fight invaders from north of the subcontinent/ have infighting rather than European invaders conquering us. If you are in a dispute with your neighbour you may not want another person from 200 miles away from you home come and cause further trouble, right?

One has to take into account of the fact that India is the 2nd populous country in the world and any invasion has the potential to cause a massive number of deaths.

Why are you obsessed with European invasions from the Middle Ages? If you are going to also obsess about Muslim invasions into Asia, you need to pull out your history book again. Read up on later Western colonialism in Asia, especially the British.

Glad to have the pragmatic Dutch perspective of which I’m a big fan. The again it might be that I have a Dutch born (Haarlem) father and Grandparents.

Disillusionment with institutions after WWII most likely.

Church attendance, especially in the US hit a peak in the 1950s and 60s. The WWII generation loved to join things and churches were one of them, even cultural christians who were there to connect with their friends and community. Clubs: Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary, veterans clubs, etc. are declining. The club aspect of churches is also disappearing. This is not the first times church attendance has dropped off, it’s about the same percentages now as around the Revolution. There was a reason there have been multiple “Great Awakenings” in the US. Wars like the Civil War, WWI and WWI also have caused upticks in attendance.

The European nations did exactly the same thing until 60-70 years back.
Colonisation of Asia and other parts of the world.

British, French, Portugese, Dutch, Belgian etc…they all were invaders until 60-70 years back. Some prosperity of Europe is certainly attributed to such invasions from the past.
I am Inidan catholic. India was Great Britain’s greatest cash cow.
