No controversial at all. Dogma is about yhings, what are Absolute and immutable: God, the Trinity, the Incarnation, the Mariology.
Earthly things, even ones referring to th eternity like the liturgy are neither absolute nor immutable, so do not belong to above category.

Now, I haven’t seen where the Church changes its teachings to say that dissensions and factions are noble and virtuous things.Galatians 5:19-21
