Nope…but it is playing God to judge everyone that disagrees with you. It’s playing God to twist Catholic teaching to your liking. It’s playing God to discount what you refuse to acknowledge in the CCC and just apply what you want.Is it “playing God” to remain faithful to the teachings of His Church?
I accept every Paragraph…even the parts that say that the normative way to salvation is through the Catholic ChurchNope…but it is playing God to judge everyone that disagrees with you. Thats really great for you. Not a problem that I can see.I accept every Paragraph…even the parts that say that the normative way to salvation is through the Catholic Church
So…you consider muslims to be a part of salvation plan…but are highly critical of Christians that are not Catholic?I accept every Paragraph…even the parts that say that the normative way to salvation is through the Catholic Church
Ya I wonder that too? So…you consider muslims to be a part of salvation plan…but are highly critical of Christians that are not Catholic?
The normal way to Salvation is through the Catholic Church. I have already said that non-Catholic Christians possess a higher degree of Truth than non-Christians. In fact, all non-Catholic Christians have an imperfect union with the Body of Christ through baptism, provided it used the correct matter (liquid water) and form (trinitarian formula). Any Christian, knowing Catholicism to be the True Church, but rejecting it, will have more to answer for than one who does not accept the Church out of ignorance. One can only be responsible for those graces he or she has been given. Muslims of good will, who through no fault of their own, have rejected Christianity are not held to the same degree of culpability as one who has outright rejected the Gospel out of stubbornness. I cannot speak for that state of other’s souls. I can only adhere to authentic Catholic teaching. So…you consider muslims to be a part of salvation plan…but are highly critical of Christians that are not Catholic?
Non-Catholic Christians accept the Gospel as we do. They may not be in full communion with the CC…but they are Christians. The normal way to Salvation is through the Catholic Church. What do you mean? I believe it was our Lord who said: “To whom much is given, much will be required.” Read the documents of Vatican II, particularly Lumen Gentium and the Decree on Ecumenism. And who made that rule?
The holy see which I assume to be the Catholic Magisterium has no authority over non-Catholic Christians. So, what does it matter to a non-Catholic Christian who attends a corporate church not in full communion with the Catholic Church? If a visible corporate church is in full communion with the Catholic Church, then that visible church would be part of the Catholic Church. All that matters if God accepts the corporate worship from a body of believers. God determines what is acceptable before Him. All that have been washed by the blood of Christ are made clean; therefore, Christians can come before Him through His Son alone. Christians from the Protestant and Catholic traditions are still One in Christ since there is only one body of Christ in which Christ is the head.I would be happy to sponsor you if you are interested in joining the Holy Catholic church, tell me does the holy see accept your denomination as being in full communion with the church? how about answering in non cryptic language.
It all comes from the Church’s Magisterium. Which Jesus gave us.And who made that rule?
I’m so glad that brown bag happy face Catholics will be going to Catholic seminary! It all comes from the Church’s Magisterium. Which Jesus gave us.
Thank you brother i think it is important that we should all pray for unity. I very happy to wear the brown paper bag of unity.I’m so glad that brown bag happy face Catholics will be going to Catholic seminary!
What does it mean? Did Jesus say that Muslims were ok?What do you mean? I believe it was our Lord who said: “To whom much is given, much will be required.” Read the documents of Vatican II, particularly Lumen Gentium and the Decree on Ecumenism.

In all the debates we have here is all you can say is a word or two,are on your good day a whole sentenceSorry I do not agree![]()
A+To answer the question,
here are some reasons I’m glad I converted to Catholicism from Protestantism:
- we receive Jesus physically into ourselves in Communion! really, I’d be Catholic just for that
- we know our teachings are from the Holy Spirit, given to the Church, and not individual intepretation.
- Blessed Mother Mary and the Saints
- there is unity in teaching… only one Church
- all the beautiful devotions, prayers, etc
Sometimes brevity is a virtue. In all the debates we have here is all you can say is a word or two,are on your good day a whole sentence
It depends wholly on each individuals life experiences. If a Muslim never heard a single word about Jesus Christ, then he may very well be saved. It is not me for me to say. That is the dominion of God. It is simply up to me to tell him of the Truth of Christ and His Church. What he does with it is his that individual Muslim’s responsibility. If you are merely trying to get me to create a list of “who is saved” and “who is not,” then give up. I don’t play God.What does it mean? Did Jesus say that Muslims were ok?
