Robin is withdrawing from opiate medication. She has flu-like symptoms, among other miseries. Please pray for her to remain hopeful and to tolerate these symptoms with courage.

Prayer for Suffering

Holy God,
In Your kindness, give Robin the grace to complete her withdrawal
from opiates. If it is Your will, alleviate her suffering. In Your kindness
help her to accept this suffering with patient resignation to Your most
Holy will and plan for her life. Have mercy on her and forgive her sins.

Let her find peace amid her suffering and offer it for the salvation
of souls. With eyes of faith, let her see the blessings of this sickness.
And after she has been healed, may she be a witness of Your healing
love and power and serve You for the rest of her life.

I offer this intention through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and
reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Hope

Blessed Lady of Hope, pray to your Son for us. By your intercession,
may we be strong in faith, steady in hope, and abide in love. I offer
this intention through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns

Prayer for Those Suffering Through Opiate Withdrawal

God of Mercy, Your servants are suffering through opiate
withdrawal. Some are chronic pain patients. Others are
substance abusers. Please give them the strength to suffer
through months of sweats, chills, nausea, fatigue,
and mental distress. Strengthen their resolve even as
the symptoms worsen. May they offer their suffering
for conversion of sinners, for the forgiveness of sins, in
reparation for sins, and for the salvation of souls. We ask
all this in the name of Jesus Christ, for whom nothing is
impossible. Amen.

St. Jude, pray for us.
St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us.

Update: She is feeling better emotionally and spiritually today.
Her mood is more hopeful. Thank you so much for your prayers.
And most of all, may we all thank God for His endless mercy.

Prayed that the withdrawal symptoms of Robin would come to an end and she would finally be in her normal self, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
 
I’m praying for Robin. May the Lord heal her and grant her patience.
 
Lord,
Let Robin feel Your presence around and in her. Let angels fan her heated skin or warm her w their covering. Holy Spirit Comfort her. Jesus, cover her w Your blood. Help her sleep and not be restless. Help them to remember to put on the whole armor of God. Read the Bible! Google scripture verses.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Robin ). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Robin ’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Robin), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. hastened your death with a lethal injection. I ask
you to pray for Robin, who is going through
opiate withdrawal. Please ask Our Lord and
Redeemer to give her the graces to persevere
as you did in the starvation bunker. May she
offer her suffering to our dear Savior, as
a reparation for sins and for the salvation of
souls. May she always thank God for His mercy,
which is given freely to all through the death and
resurrection of Jesus, who lives and reigns
with You and the Holy Spirit one God, forever
and ever. Amen.
