Sorry Prod. I didn’t have much of a problem with your verses so that is why I did not respond. But my take is everyone who says Lord, Lord might not see the kingdom if they did not love and serve Him. Yes my take is Christ built His Church on a rock. On the rock of Himself being the Son of God. And He is powerful enough to move the rock as He sees necessary to keep His promise of the gates not prevailing.

Please show us in scriptures where Christ stated, or even suggested, He would move His Church. He stated He would send the Holy Spirit to the Church and that He would be with it until the consummation of time. When He was making these definitive statements, where is it that He, or any Apostle, suggested that the Church would move?

I see what you’re saying as a contradiction of what scriptures state. Even the gates of hell shall not prevail, even if I have to move it around? That sounds like running away.

Christ spoke of the wise man who built his house on rock and the foolish man who built his house on sand. Which of those houses ‘moved’?

The interpretation is flawed, when you’re reading something into it that simply is not there. It has appearances of spinning scriptures to fit a theology instead of fitting a theology to scriptures.

In your view of moving the Church around, please explain the changes of doctrines, from Church to Church?

Ephesians 4:14 speaks about ‘children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine’. Where would you see think to see ‘every wind of doctrine’, in a stationary rock, or a moving rock?

I cannot see any logic in the interpretation you present.

Paul wrote the Hebrews and told them to ‘obey your prelates’. Please explain your view of that passage. Show us where Paul told them to ‘assume the position of prelate and move the Church’?
