Important Questions about the Advent Wreath

1)Okay I was wondering if My Son (Since my Husband is not Catholic) Could Bless the Advent wreath or does Our Priest have to before we light it?
  1. Son works late and probably will be in AFTER Midnight Sunday(which will be Monday morning then) Can we light the Wreath before he goes to work?
    He works from 1:20pm- after midnight

Okay 🙂 I didnt know if Son needed to Bless the candles and wreath…

Okay what about 2nd question?
 
Okay so there is not set time to light it. we only have a window so to speak from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm to light it since he has to go to work Sunday
 
There is nothing magical or written in stone. Light the candle when it works for you and your son and be at peace.
 
wooosh, tyty, This is our first year to light wreath, sorry to ask so many questions :confused:
 
Your husband is head of the house and as such, has a lot of authority. He can give a christian blessing to the household and his family.

My Husband is not Catholic, he is Baptist…Even though he is Baptist he is not very religious,and has not been to Church in years…

My Son gave Blessings 🙂
