Ah. The Relativist assault weapon know as “do not impose your beliefs on us”. But they have no qualms about using their other assault weapon known as “we will impose out immorality on you and you will be persecuted if you do not accept it”.

Well, I think it is high time we shove the truth down their throats and make them swallow it.

We are told to be meek (which does not mean weak) and humble. Just as one side despises the truth, those who know the truth need to speak clearly and compassionately. The message is not just about the flesh but the spirit as well.

God bless,
Ed

Well, I guess that Jesus may have been guilty of that. He was nowhere to being “politically correct.” Yes, He carried His cross and died. But He also threw the money changers out of the temple. There is a time and place to stand up and be firm. But it’s sometimes hard to know which of the two would be best.

If someone of another faith were to do that to you-how would you feel about them AND their faith???

Do unto others, my friends. We should approach others with the same love and compassion that we would wish to have applied to ourselves.

In the realm of “bio-ethics”…I think there is great need for caution. I will say this alittle bit “tongue-in-cheek”…yet seriously. I recently read a book…a novel…and it dealt with the issue of “bio-ethics”, and it was literally frightening. The ramifications of unethical research and activities could be catastrophic. Maybe the intended purposes were not…but the outcomes could very much be.

Common sense is needed, and frankly much common sense is driven by our religious experiences. I’ll let it go at that.

While I am in favor of laws protecting those who are unable to protect themselves, the ultimate goal of the Church is the conversion of souls- this is not achieved by shoving our values down peoples’ throats, but by appealing to their intellect and helping them to shape a well formed conscience.
