In 2006, we lost America thanks to Bush

It’s not at all silly…it’s just the last part of Bible prophecy being revealed

I don’t hate Bush…hate in not a part of my vocabulary.

Don’t even try and put that word into my mouth like you just implied.

Thank you and good luck!
By what authority do you presume to interpert Scripture for the rest of us?

Don’t you all find it strange that Goitalone can only cite Youtube as his Authoritive Schollarship?

Yes, good question where in the Bible does it say that Bush would sign the “Military Commissions Act of 2006”? Well clearly the Bible does not say those words!

So I wonder what passage or passages is Goitalone “interpreting” to get this meaning :hmmm:

Where did Goitalone get this “interpretation” of Scripture?
Or should I say from whom did he get this “interpretation” of Scripture from?

😛 Clearly it’s not “Bible Only” now is it 😛

While not as relevant to the thread but useful info for everyone anyways, the Eighth Amendment protects against cruel and unusual punishment and so forbids torture. And many other cases of punishment as determined by the Supreme Court. This is the case in the US and if I was to do some research I would probably find that most governments if not all forbid torture. Do some people violate the US Constitution? Yes, but don’t consider that indicative of the whole or the position of the US. Congress and the citizens of several states if not all (I’m not up on how changes to the Constitution are made beyond passing laws) would have to agree to remove the Eighth Amendment. And I don’t see that happening ever.

:bigyikes: :rotfl:

There’s the good, the bad, and the ugly on YouTube! 😉
Um…actually it was on MSNBC

None of you seem to realize the seriousness of this.

Bible Prophecy is realvealing itself everyday more than ever and no one seems to see it. It’s right in front of you all.

It is true because it’s happening daily.

But Cathlolics don’t believe in prophecy? K

You people can laugh, mock, make fun of my I.Q.or do anything else ya want.

Have fun with it.

Why can’t all of us just agree that goitalone has the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help him - - - . A bunch of know-nothings we are, and in need of some mighty fine education I reckon. 😉

eh whatever

I admit I don’t know a lot about American laws, but a quick scan of the link shows me it is to do with Bush wanting to bring in laws to help fight terrorism.

Is that correct?

If so, how does that get linked to the Sabbath?

All I have ever seen is goitalone talk about 1 Commandment that he thinks the SDA, and only the SDA, have interpreted and practise correctly.

Don’t they have anything else within their faith to live by?

Hmmm, well, I guess their name says it all. Seventh Day.

From an outsider’s point of view, all the way from downunder, my impression of America is, and always has been, a country filled with pride of being a democracy and being free.

It is in you anthem, the land of the brave and the home of the free.

I find it very very hard that according to the OP, all that is going to be thrown out the window so whoever is in power can bully anyone into showing who is the bigger power in the playground.

They are obsessed and arrogant about subjects:
  1. What day the Sabbath really is and any church that does hold it’s normal service on Saturday is an apostate church.
  2. Trying to prove the the RCC is the whore of Babylon.
I’ve seen this on other boards as well.

They are not New Testament Centered, they are Old Testament Centered.

All we want is what scripture verses are you using?

How are you “interpreting” those verses?

And if needed who told you that is how you “interpret” those verses?

It’s not that hard Goitalone to share that information.
Or is it?

Also, I don’t listen to political commentary…
As I mention before it is always loaded with somebody’s agenda!

That has nothing to do with me being Catholic that just has to do with me being wise about today’s so call “news”. Goitalone I asked earlier but you didn’t seem to answers so I’ll ask one more time.

Have you actually read the bill for yourself or are you just relaying on some mans commentary on it?

Thanks and God Bless

Here is a link to the Bill:

thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c109:H.R.6166:

It is 80 pages long.

I wish I had the time to read it.

Just do a Google search on “Torture Bill”

Here is one Headline:

Torture Bill States

Non-Allegiance To Bush Is Terrorism (In previous posts on my own blog I have called the George Bush and Tony Blair pair the “The BUSHICHRIST and the BLAIR PROPHET”)

Legislation tolls the bell for the day America died, birth of the dictatorship

Further actions that result in the classification of an individual as a terrorist include the following.
  • Destruction of any property, which is deemed punishable by any means of the military tribunal’s choosing.
  • Any violent activity whatsoever if it takes place near a designated protected building, such as a charity building.
- A change of the definition of “pillaging” which turns all illegal occupation of property and all theft into terrorism. This makes squatters and petty thieves enemy combatants.

In light of Greg Palast’s recent hounding by Homeland Security, after they accused him of potentially giving terrorists key information about U.S. “critical infrastructure” when filming Exxon’s Baton Rouge refinery (clear photos of which were publicly available on Google Maps), sub-section 27 of section 950v. should send chills down the spine of all investigative journalists and even news-gatherers.
