In a Quandary

Hi,

So, this might seem a little minor, but I’m seriously debating it. As many of you know, I’ve written about wanting to find a wife, and as such pray for her (both to find her soon and for God to bless her now), and I’ve written one prayer that I’ve shown to only a very few people, but they both say it’s beautiful, and one says I should share it with others, but I kind of want to keep it for myself, and when I meet her to, show my spouse.

Hmm…, a dilemma indeed.

You didn’t actually ask a question.

But, you can do the best of BOTH worlds if you keep the prayer to the few who know about … then share it with your future wife … then share it with us.

Or, you can write a new prayer, and share it.

I don’t see anything wrong with keeping it to yourself until you find her. That’s very special, don’t feel you have to share it with others if you don’t want to.

I agree. It is most appropriate to put your spouse first, and to reserve special gifts for her. This prayer is like a gift which you made with your own heart and hands. It is for the two of you. Someday you and she may together decide to share it.
