Six months at our parish.

Where I lived before, it was 9 months. But there were exceptions. My own Convalidation was done just 3 months after we made our request.
 
Does your diocese have a one day marriage preparation retreat day for engaged couples?

A stipulation is that one of the couple must be an active and practicing Catholic.
 
The engaged retreat day will be held August 23 in the cathedral of the diocese.
