Probably a stupid question. I think the answer is yes (for instance in communion) but I’m talking in the way that Protestants use the word. Does He?

Good question! Certainly after communion He is within us. Isn’t there a line also in John where He says something like, “As my Father is in Me, so I am in you”. We certainly speak of the in-dwelling God, but I have always thought of that as the Holy Spirit. Since we believe in a Triune God, I assume the Father and Son also are there within. Hmmm. Like to see more replies Certainly I see/experience God as ever-present.

Jesus said “The Kingdom of God is within you.” That’s all I need to know. And the Sacrament of Holy Communion is there to help us understand the mystery of Christ’s indwelling in a special way. Wonderful question, as it reminds us of the joy of Christ, and the meaning of His sacrifice.
