Sure, some people believe Chick is credible. I know one very lovable (and I believe holy) old Pentecostal pastor who believes every word of this garbage. But his mind has been formed in such a way as to make this stuff seem credible. (Catholics have believed some garbage about Protestants too.) Most people in our society today think Chick is either a disgrace to the name of Christian or a totally comic (!) figure, or both (if they’ve heard of him at all).
