Most Holy Apostle, St. Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of his enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors you, and I invoke you as the special advocate of those who are in trouble and almost without hope. Help me to realize that through our faith we triumph over lifes difficulties by the power of Jesus who gave his life for us. Come to my assistance that I may receive the consolation and succor of heaven in all my needs, trials, and sufferings, particularly (here make your request) and that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever.

St. Jude, follower of the Son of God, pray for us.

St. Jude, preacher of the love of God, pray for us.

St. Jude, intercessor before God, pray for us.

I’m not sure what to tell you - but one thing I thought of, that probably won’t be much use, but MIGHT be is…does your church need anyone to do any work cleaning things up or whatever? Maybe if they need help they can pay a modest wage? I don’t know - just thinking. In any case - I’ll pray for you tonight.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen.
 
an update:
from a contact on this forum a charitable parish helped us catch up on the utilities, my mother sent a re-payable ‘gift’, and we were given 4 used but do-able tires for the car. My husband has a job interview next Tuesday and was hired by another job part-time to do some teaching that will be coming up in the next week or so. So we still have to get thru this paycheck, (the dog is eating rice tonight with us—LOL) and we still have some outstanding debts and loans from getting so far behind but it looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel here! I am so grateful. I hope one day to be able to pass it along or pay it back. your prayers made it possible—and please keep them going about the job thing-this job he is interviewing for is a keeper!
