Dear Brothers and Sisters,

How often God has worked in my life through the wisdom of the saints. Today I was so blessed by this entry from St. Faustina’s Diary:
906 In difficult moments, I will fix my gaze upon the silent Heart of Jesus, stretched upon the Cross, and from the exploding flames of His merciful Heart, will flow down upon me power and strength to keep fighting.
Jesus, I trust in You!

Thank you for sharing this! It is very inspiring, indeed!

May God bless you always! 🙂

I am reading St. Faustina’s diary now. Just started reading it this week. I’m on pages 55-56 (entry 98 or so).

I’m loving it so far and in certain entries, I have been able to identify with her.

Jesus, I trust in You!
Very powerful. I say this to Him every night as part of my nightly prayers. I trust in His plan for my life, His will and ask Him to fill my heart and soul with the Holy Spirit to guide me through life.

God Bless

Dear Richard,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I believe the Holy Spirit inspired St. Faustina to write many words in her Diary to help all of us to draw closer to God. I believe the same Holy Spirit guided me to re-read her words in this Diary and share the wisdom God has given to her for all of us.

Finally I believe the same Holy Spirit guides you to continue to look for His Truth each day you open your computer. 🙂

How beautiful, how very beautiful is His work in the Body of Christ!

Dear Brad,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the simple prayer Jesus taught to St. Faustina, “Jesus, I trust in You!” is very powerful.

He instructed her to have this prayer inscribed on a picture of His image. I pray this prayer often, at night, and during the day – especially whenever I am tempted to be afraid and lack confidence in His Love for me and for all those in most need of His Mercy.

Dear Graceful_Lamb,

Good for you!!! So happy you are reading St. Faustina’s Diary, also. I am about half-way through my re-reading of it, and I am grateful the Lord put it on my heart to read this book again during this Year of Mercy.

I believe all who are seeking the Lord can find words in this Dairy, with which to identify. Some parts of course are intended for St. Faustina personally as a unique soul in whom God was working, but Jesus told St. Faustina that He wanted her to write not merely for herself, but for others as well.

O Blood and Water that gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
Jesus, I trust in You!

Yes! My heart says a grateful yes to this, that looking on Jesus in the tough moments and being given Grace and mercy to keep fighting. Oh, how I need to hear that right now, how very much I need to spend some time gazing on Him. In fact, I think I shall do it right now!

Dear JoyToTheWhirled,

Thanks so much for your reply and your response to Gods call. 🙂

I need that power and strength, St. Faustina, pray for us. It is so hard to function as a Catholic without access to a godly priest. Yet in her notes, St. Faustina reminds me I have access to the High Priest as I have always had. I am going to have to give up the earthly pursuit of counsel. Going back into her diary…

Dear Casilda,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have always found good counsel in the wisdom of the saints. It is sad but true: today there are few priests with whom we can share our spiritual needs. However, we can continue to learn from those great women and men saints through whom the Lord continually helps the Church.

St. Faustina is one specially given to us for this time. There is an ordained Priesthood founded by Christ and I am grateful for each holy priest I’ve met (there are a few). I’m grateful for those who continue to strive for holiness and are striving to offer Mass in a holy manner. I pray for all priests and deacons that they may continually open their hearts to the Holy Spirit and preach with the Heart of Christ, as well as help all to receive Him with greater reverence and love in Holy Communion.

By God’s grace let us continue to hear Jesus in Scripture and in the words of those who have remained in His Word as our Mother Mary and all the saints have done. Let us also find Him in our hearts and know His Infinite Love and Care for us. He is Faithful forever!
