I’m really having trouble with my decision to join the Catholic Church. i’ve been fully taught in the teachings of the church, i had private instruction due to no RCIA class at the parish. The priest has given me leverage in having a private ceremony in the church’s oratory. The only thing i need to do is be recieved into the church. The place where i live has a profound impact on my indecision on not to convert. I live in Northern Ireland, a place that has been in turmoil over religious divisions. I come from a Protestant family and background. If they found out what i was doing they would certainly disown me, but i love my family as anyone would but i can’t help feel God’s call to the Catholic Church. Every bone in my body is telling me to be with Jesus in His Church and recieve his Body and Blood present in the Eucharist. I have to chose between God’s love and my family’s love and i can’t make either sacrifice. Any comments would be greatly appreciated and i apologise if i have posted in the wrong section.
Thanks.
Thanks.
