In heaven, will we have the power to be able to create anything out of nothing?

What’s the difference between taking divinity and receiving divinity? (Because they both sound the same to me.)

Wilshire, try to read between the lines. I was making a dry joke about the theology. It is my Irish nature. Find the joy in living and don’t worry about the ‘politics’ of heaven for now.

You can look at it in a couple of ways. To receive Divinity is to accept the spirituality that is offered or bestowed upon on. To ‘take’ Divinity seems to be forceful in a sense. I don’t think we can accept Divinity in a forceful way. I equate Divinity with Godliness. There are several definitions about divinity. In most cases, it refers to God or a godhead. It a bit complex and over my head, but interesting to ponder. Perhaps someone better equipped can give a better idea. I don’t think divinity per se is within the human realm.

When you mean “human realm”, are you talking about the realm of heaven, earth, or both?

Just to let you know, I’m not taking theology.
I did, for six years, and then I couldn’t take it any more as in I couldn’t write more long papers requiring many citations. I’m two psychology classes and one math class short of my MA in Theology. I doubt I’ll ever get it.
