I agree that he is asking an honest question and look forward to hearing what Mulsim men think. Oh, I thought you were simply trying to turn the question back at him because you thought it was unfair of him to ask it. I don’t think it’s insurmountable at all, and I hold to the Catholic answer on the matter.
Regardless, since this is the Islam forum, I think it’s preferable that Muslims start answering the question since it was directed at them. Muslims are free to ask us Catholics the same question if they like, but that’s not the topic of this particular thread

Oh, I thought you were simply trying to turn the question back at him because you thought it was unfair of him to ask it. I don’t think it’s insurmountable at all, and I hold to the Catholic answer on the matter.

i am a muslim from Egypt.
First : Idont know if men have tendency to be evil. I dont think this is a fact .
Second: Men have tendancy to do sins because they have been given the burden of choice. We are also given the burden of desires.
God created us with choice unlike angels. ( BTW Satan isnt an angel in islam . in islam we dont have anything called falen angel, we have angels and Jin )
Humans , Jins are given the burden of choice . Thus wiull be accounted on Judgement day .
From choice and desires and scarcity of resources we have good and bad decisions.
Men can do sins as they do have need for sex , food . water. etc.
God has created us withtehcapacity to sin . Because with the test and teh hardship comes the meaning of reward. Which is heaven.
