In need of some prayer

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time, but I have recently began to become more involved in the catholic church again.

I ask for your prayers in regards to my health, I have been having strange numbness and tingling across my body for the last couple of days. I am a self diagnosed hypochondriac, and fear that it may be multiple sclerosis, otherwise known as MS. I have yet to see my doctor and express my concerns, but my anxiety and stress over this has greatly interfered with my abilities to function.

I have not been able to study, to engage in activities that I enjoy, or do anything other than want to lay in bed all day and sleep. I feel that I am falling into depression since the possibility of MS is on my mind almost constantly, only when I sleep am I able to get it off my mind.

Thank you for your prayers. I shall pray for all of you as well.

Praying that you will get to see a doctor soon and you will be properly diagnosed for your symptoms of numbness and tingling with something that is treatable with recovery.

Praying that this visit to a Dr will help alleviate your anxiety and stress.

Yes please see a doctor, chiropractor.
Praying it is something very simple ,and that you can take it easy until you know.

I have MS. The symptoms you described sound very familiar from before I had my diagnosis. You need to go to your doctor. Try to get a MRI. If you do have it, then you need to be on meds to slow its progress, but you won’t get a RX until you have a diagnosis, which kind of leads me to another thing you mentioned.

You also spoke of things consistent with depression, another thing I know a bit about. Going to your doctor for the MS concern will help with that. I’m certain there are other things on your mind contributing to what you describe, but eliminating your concern (either through a diagnosis and meds OR through a diagnosis of something else) will help you. I’m sorry to drop something else on you, but you should probably see someone about the depression.

You’ve undoubtedly heard all that stuff before, and it may not be helping because of that, but it’s fair dinkum, as the Aussies say. I pasted a brace of novenas below for you. I have prayed both of them, and I hope they help you. God bless you!
