I am a newly converted israeli atheist . With the grace of Almighty God , I converted to catholicism , and embraced Jesus Christ as my Messiah .

My nation of Israel , the brithplace of our Lord and Savior , is at risk .

The country is controlled by religious jews . Those religious jews are racist , hateful , intollerant and hate secular jews , christians , muslims , atheists and basically every non-religious jew . Most of them belong to the orthodox sect of Judaism .

These religious jews , prevent the nation of Israel from achieving peace with its neighbors , from being a democratic state , and from leaving a free , peaceful life .

These people , who asked for the death of Christ , did the same to Israel’s former PM Yitzhak Rabin , who , like Jesus , tried to bring peace to the people of Israel .

This is another proof that the story of Jesus is still alive and well . Jesus was humiliated , hated and finally brought to death , by the religious jews . In 1995 , PM Rabin , a man of peace who tried to bring peace to the people of Israel , was killed by a religious jew , with full support of the religious public . Coinsidence ? Prophecy ! It’s enough to read the story of Jesus’ crucifiction to know Rabin’s deat was another act of those Jesus refered to as “The children of Satan” (John 8:44) .

These people are indeed as Christ said , liars . They lie to the israeli authorities all the time and through lies and deception they manage to live on Israeli taxpayers’ money while not serving the IDF , not working or studying , just learning the Torah , and preach the israelis not to marry non jews , to follow the jewish belief only , and to reject the peace process with the arabs . They use their orthodox\religious politicians to keep getting money for their causes , and to keep using the rest of the non religious jews as slaves .

Those satanic serpents refer to our Lod Jesus Christ peace be upon him as “He whose name may be erased” . They haven’t changed a bit since the times of the crucifiction !

I am happy I managed to enlighten the many catholics my brothers and sisters in Christ to the truth . We must be united in faith and pray for the good people of Israel , 54% of whom have a good opinion of Christians according to Pew research center poll , to free themselves of those servents of Satan .

Stand up for Israel !

Have you sought professional help?

If not, you should; if so, why’d you stop going?

But in all seriousness, are you serious?

I don’t believe that you are really Israeli, and your theological views are certainly at odds with the Catholic Church.

Well I’m no converted Jew or Messianic Jew, but I have spent some time on sites that are Jewish oriented. And there are many Messianic Jew’s that understand, and there are those who are radical towards bringing Israel under the law in the Torah. I have been told that the orthodox have everything but the Arc or the Covenant ready for the reconstruction of the Temple.

But the spirit of what you say hasn’t gone anywhere, it has been here since Jesus and before Jesus came into the flesh. Plus there are many who resent Christianity because they blame the Christian nations for much of what they suffered the passed 1800 yr’s or more. And their view of arab/Muslim nations is self explanatory. Needless to say you know this already. Israel being Israel (a sovereign nation, to a point) lets the world know that the time is nearer then they think. You believe in Jesus the Son of God, know this that He is returning to Jerusalem, its only a matter of time, and the enemy knows it. So if you live in the land of Israel, then you are right in the center of the hurricane. World history revolves around what the Lord God of Israel is doing with Israel.

But you must know that the Kingdom of God is not a democracy, and I don’t believe being in disagreement with the Lord Jesus is acceptable. And its about Israel’s Peace with the Lord their God, not about Israel’s peace with the world. Therefore like many times before and the Lord does it with most of His, they will have to call upon the Name of the Lord their God to be delivered.

Messianic jews are good people but they are victims of the radical orthodox jews aswell .

Luke 23: 33-34 “When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified Him and the criminals there, one on His right and one on His left. Then Jesus said:“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” They divided His garments by casting lots.”

I agree with you, He sounds more like a very far-right, pre-trib, pre-mill Christian  that is trying to be more ‘Jewish’ (outwardly) then any Jew. 😃

Or is it, the Catholic Church would be at odds with the Lord God showing favor towards Israel rather then the Catholic Church?

Why is it either-or? Why can’t a Catholic be faithful to the Church and also support Israel?

I know many who do- including old, close friends of mine.

But that aside, the fact is that the Pope himself doesn’t make statements like ThomasBecker, and that’s no coincidence;

No.

The international community should boycott Israel. The boycott should encompass financial, political and cultural interaction with Israel.

Internationally Roman Catholics should have nothing whatsoever to do with Israel. It is a deeply dysfunctional state built upon apartheid policies and racial/ethnic discrimination.

Interestingly, thank G-d, very few feel as you do:
  1. It is no coincidence that the past number have Popes and their representatives have worked diligently to strengthen ties with Israel- and vice versa. Israel is the only country in the region with a growing Christian population.
  2. "Catholics from Nigeria, Poland Among Top Tourists to Israel"
A study released by the Tourism Ministry contained some surprises as to who comes to Israel to visit, and why

    10/18/2012
…The largest number of people visiting Israel are not Jewish, but Christian; and the largest number of Christians coming to Israel are Catholic, not fundamentalist Protestants. Fifty eight percent of visitors in 2011 were Christian, while only 25% were Jewish; 1% were Moslem. Among the Christians, 52% were Catholic, and 21% Protestants. The highest proportion of Christian tourists came from Nigeria, Poland, Portugal and Italy…
  1. Last year was the best year ever for tourism here:

We won’t tolerate the racism and apartheid that our neighbors all around us practice:

Israel is a flawed nation made up of people profoundly in need of a Savior - just like every other country on earth. It really boggles me that there are people who angrily agitate for cutting ties and punishing Israel, but say nothing about our ties with places like Saudi Arabia or China that have FAR more profound human rights issues than exist in Israel. It make you wonder…

While catholicism certainly agrees with St. Paul that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (thus being in need of Grace, forgiveness and salvation), we’ve learned (slowly perhaps) over time that this isn’t readily accomplished by lecturing Jews about how naughty they are and how they deserve to be singled out as people MORE in need of Christ than the rest of us. That sort of approach repells people from Jesus rather than invites them to a relationship.

Neither Saudi Arabia or China adopt the pretence of being a democracy.

Israel does try to construct the pretence of being a democracy, which it isn’t (a democracy).

Profoundly in need of a Saviour?
As I understand it, Christ lived in that region and was rejected utterly by the locals.
This is what the Gospel teaches.

Are the countries that surround Isreal funcitional???

I was tought that Jesus, the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, St. Mattew, St Mark, St. John, and St. Paul, were ALL Jews, the last four wrote most of the New Testament. And maybe the 120 in the upper room were not local Jews.

Israel IS NOT an apartheid nation! In apartheid South Africa, blacks couldn’t vote nor were they citizens. The Arabs in Israel are full citizens with voting rights and representation in the government.

The territories, I might add, were won by Israel in a defensive war forced upon them by their neighbors. Security requirements and violent insurrections have forced Israel to impose restrictions upon residents in the West Bank which aren’t necessary inside Israel’s pre 1967 borders. Not only that, Palestinians in the territories dispute Israel’s right to exist, blacks in apartheid South Africa didn’t seek the destruction of South Africa, only the apartheid regime. Were blacks in South Africa allowed to work, attend schools and universities like Palestinians in Israel are? Apartheid…NO!

But that aside, the fact is that the Pope himself doesn’t make statements like ThomasBecker, and that’s no coincidence;
In my opinion, a faithful Catholic should support Israel. Failure to do so would inevitably bring about a second holocaust. There’s no way around that. It’s even in the Hamas charter. They’re proud of it. Catholics can’t support things like that.

Now, regarding ThomasBecker’s comments. I have read, here and there, that there are a small number of ultra-religious Jews in Israel who do, indeed, sometimes make things difficult for not only those of other religions, but of non-orthodox Jews as well; the Meier Kahane types. But while such groups are undoubtedly a pain to many, they don’t really run the country. My guess is that ThomasBecker has been the brunt of their ire more than most, and possibly thinks them more numerous and formidable than they really are.

Blacks in South Africa called for the end of Apartheid in South Africa.

Israel was created out of the theft in Palestine in 1947/1948.
The continued theft of land continues Palestinian land is ethnically cleansed and occupiers replace the displaced.
