Most Holy Trinity, I thank you for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all the WYD pilgrims of 2008. May the Gift of the Holy Spirit which Almighty God so gratuitously bestowed upon us, bear much fruit as we return to our lives, renewed, and with courage, share and deepen our faith for the glory of God. Amen

I pray: God as you send the World Youth Day participants back from pilgrimage, may the light from the Fire ignited there shine to those of us fellow Catholics who did not attend so your message can truly spread to all humanity throughout the globe. Amen!

God, please grant this and all our prayers.
 
Lord, sustain in the pilgrims your steadfast spirit, grant them wisdom and courage for the journey ahead

Come Holy Spirit
Fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they are created and you will renew the face of the earth. Lord by the light of your spirit you have taught the hearts of your faithful, in that same spirit teach us to relish what is right and always rejoice in your consolation
