Please join me in a prayer of thanksgiving for the safe delivery of my best friend’s baby. It was more complicated than they’d hoped, but they are now the proud parents of 9lb 11oz baby boy!

Heavenly Father, every life is precious to you from the very moment of conception. Thank you for bringing this baby into the world, and allowing all of us to share in his life. Thank you for guiding the hands of the medical staff. Please provide this little one’s parents with all of the help they’ll need in the coming weeks, and bring healing to his mother. This we pray in the name of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Jesus please always be central to this child’s life, to the family’'s life. Let Your gospel principle of loving God above all and others as self, underpin their whole lives…and yours, Kristie!
