In the beginning was chaos, but order followed

The universe didn’t just pop into somewhere all of a sudden, because in the beginning it was disorganized. Laws were being tweaked based on what created harmony in the universe, rotation and expansion.

Man kind reflects its creator, or its nurser. Even look morality, which can only be developed with a cognitive Mind. At some point in our history, some people figured out what worked, and what tore relationships apart. Crazy stuff, these people were smart as hell.

Everything starts off new, but grows to its fullest with the gift we are provided.

I think there was order from the very beginning. “The most widely accepted scientific creation scenario is the Big Bang theory, which holds that everything in the Universe was created from nothing. Coincidentally, the Christian Bible likewise asserts that God created everything from nothing (Genesis 1:1) (Hebrews 11:3). Pope John Paul II felt that the Big Bang theory was the Creation scenario closest to that portrayed in the Bible (1). The Universe is currently expanding. The inevitable conclusion to the Big Bang scenario is the Big Crunch, when gravitational forces overcome and halt the expansion, causing the Universe to collapse in on itself. The unfathomable gravity eventually creates one enormous massive super black hole containing all matter in the Universe, collapsing in on itself with such great gravitational force as to approach zero in size. The properties of matter falter as this super black hole reaches critical mass and explodes into pure energy, triggering another Big Bang, forming a new Universe (a cycling recreation). In both the Old and New Testament, God creates a new Heaven and a new Earth, as the old Heaven and Earth pass away (Isaiah 65:17, Revelations 21:01)”.

Actually I was not aware that nothingness is equal to choas. Choas implies something. God created everything ex nihilo, or out of nothing. In the beginning [horrible word for this type of thing, considering there is not beginning or end with God] there was God and that was all.

God bless.

Actually lemondiesel got it backwards, order was first, chaos didn’t come into existence until God created Eve.

Chaos is anything that isn’t contained within the harmony. Even the realm of nothingness is chaos, but as you said chaos implies something. There must be guide lines then for something to come from that nothing.

And God created everything to evolve towards him. We are constantly changing, but we become more advance in the process. Past and Future existed as one point, which then God created distance between the two.

We fall somewhere in there…

I’m pretty sure I learnt this is not inevitable and is in fact considered unlikely?

A childhood friend and Engineering classmate who commanded two Space Shuttle missions and conducted repairs on the Hubble Telescope emphatically disagrees. We have discussed these topics over many beers.

“In a broad class of dark energy models, the universe may collapse within a finite time t_c. Here we study a representative model of dark energy with a linear potential, V(\phi)=V_0(1+\alpha\phi). This model is the simplest doomsday model, in which the universe collapses rather quickly after it stops expanding. Observational data from type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia), cosmic microwave background anisotropy (CMB), and large scale structure (LSS) are complementary in constraining dark energy models. Using the new SN Ia data (Riess sample), the CMB data from WMAP, and the LSS data from 2dF, we find that the collapse time of the universe is t_c > 42 (24) gigayears from today at 68% (95%) confidence.”

Most recent cosmological models based on recent observations indicate the rate of expansion is increasing (dark energy possibly involved?) and will never collapse.

What do you mean everything was created to evolve towards him? We do not become God, we become One with God while he Maintains His Godhead and we are identities. We are not absorbed into God or become God. I just wanted some clarification.

I can agree that we can become more advanced as one advances to a closer Union with God.

God bless.
