excellent quotes, well known to most but it does not apply or answer the question that is asked - please try again - twinc
Stop making childish remarks!

Apart from God (who has always been) there was nothing else before he created the universe and the CCC which I quoted defines that.

This is mentioned in both the OT and NT - so would or could anyone speculate if there actually could have been or was a beginning or just a continuum viz a steady state and no big bang - twinc
Twinc: God has no beginning or ending. Our creation. Has a beginning which God began. If there was a big bang it had nothing to do with evolution or creation.
Answer this question; if God created time and space where was God before time and space? Think about it. God Bless Jerry Kelso

childish or otherwise I repeat we all know what you have quoted but how long after did HE create the Universe, was it billions of years before He suddenly decided to create -twinc

whatever the purpose of the Luciferian flood may have been ,it seems it accomplished nothing for Lucifer and his lot were still prowling the earth - btw Psalm 24:2 does not say floods but rivers and vs 9 & 10 clarify vs1 &2 -

Twinc: Do you just like to hear me repeat myself or do you really not comprehend what I’ve said?
Lucifer was the original ruler of earth and rebelled and lost his rulership on earth. Hell was created for the devil and his angels and is located in the lower parts of the earth.
Why do you think he was in the garden of eden at the time of adam and eve and why do you think he wants to still usurp god’s authority.
I already said you could be right about Psalm 24 but it doesn’t make any difference either way cause jeremiah 4:23 proves Genesis 1:2 was a flood. God bless! Jerry kelso

Jerry - why this wild goose chase? - Jeremiah 4:23 says nothing at all about a flood.Lucifer was God’s bright and shining morning star that ruled heaven and earth in God’s name but wanted to be like the Most High God and to raise his throne above that of God.He was cast out of heaven to hell which cannot be the center of the earth “for heaven and earth will pass away and there will be new heavens and a new earth” - twinc

Twinc; Why do you insist on giving general statements about scriptures? This shows you have no understanding of context. If you do then tell me what the context is of jereemiah 4:23. if you don’t know just say so or say I"ll get back to you or wait til you have a decent answer…
You said that hell wasn’t the center of the earth because of the heavens and earth passing away. At least you gave a scriptural reason based on revelation 21:1. However, you obviously believe in the annihilation theory which is usually a miisrepresentationn of 2 Peter 3:10. Renovation by fire does not annihilate; read Hebrews 12:26-29. God Bless! Jerry Kelso

so you think that not only Peter[our first Pope]but Christ Himself got it wrong that heaven and earth would pass away but their words would not.Christ is the light of the world and was before the sun was created on the fourth day and when the sun and the old earth and heavens disappear [see Rev.21:23 and 22:5].Hebrews mentions things moving and being moved whilst Rev.21:1 backs up heaven and earth passing away by stating that the first heaven and first earth was gone and the sea was now no more and the voice said “behold I make all things new” - btw,in passing Jeremiah 4:23 says “I beheld the earth, and lo it was void and nothing : and the heavens and there was no light in them” - this was so before the fourth, fifth and six days of creation viz before the sun was created on the fourth day and creatures to populate on the fifth and sixth day - twinc

Twinc: the only one that has it wrong is you. It does say pass away but it doesn’t mean annihilation for ther will always be seasons and day and night in their season; genesis 8:22 and jeremiah 33:20-22,25,26.
Hebrews 12;26,27:j the removing of the things shaken will be the curse of sin but the kingdom will remain and will be for a thousand years . The millenial kingdom is a major doctrine in the old testament. The things that cannot be shaken remain and this can’t be if the earth is annihilated. When it says no more sea doesn’t mean literally for they’re are many scriptures to prove there are seas at that time. (Psalm 72:8-10;17;97:1-6;Isaiah42:4).
Your assessment of Jeremiah 4:23. Is true in your context but not in the biblical text and harmonizing scriptures together. Jeremiah says without form and void’j Genesis 1:2. Isaiah 45:18 says God didn’t create the earth in vain. God bless’ jerry kelso

your quotes have been shown to make no sense at all and here again we are on a nonsense wild goose chase for of course ,obviously the earth was created to be populated and not in vain - of course there would be seasons and day and night as long as the earth lasted - twinc

Twinc: it makes perfect sense for all three verses use the term without form and void. Now you gave a decent answer so I have no beef with that. Let me ask you a question that deals with this; when do you think lucifer rebelled and why is hell in the lower parts of the earth which was prepared for the devil and his angels? God bless! Jerry Kelso
