It is very interesting that the article says, “Devotion to St. Joseph is growing.”
Lately I started to feel real appreciation toward St. Joseph. And I thank St. Joseph for being our Lord’s foster father.
 
Is the Feast Day of St. Joseph a day of abstaining from meat? Why is there no meat on the St. Joseph Alters.:confused:

Why does Mary get all the love and St. Joseph seems like barly an afterthought…

Now it looks like he is getting his due…

The St Joseph altar was a tradition begun during the Middle Ages, when Catholics did abstain from meat for the full forty days of Lent. And even though discipline has changed, the altars have stayed the same.
 
My own dad had a deep reverence and devotion for St.Joseph. He prayed for his intercession in regards to a happy death. I believe it was granted. Praise God!

Also more and more people go to St.Joseph for a personal reason, to sell their home. Whatever works!
