does only the celebrant priest/bishop wear cope, or is there something like “concelebration of LotH” in which other attending clerics may wear one as well?

I’m pretty sure only the celebrant does. Everyone else would be in appropriate choir dress.

There’s a series in the Archdiocese of Edmonton called Nothing More Beautiful that combines Cathedral Vespers with a catechesis by a bishop. The Archbishop has thus far always been the celebrant, and he is the only priest or bishop vested (in a cope). There is most often another bishop there (or several) that are not wearing any vestments. Usually there’s one deacon to assist with the incensing (in Dalmatics) and a priest-MC (in cassock/surplice), and there’s altar servers in albs.

Other than that, nobody else is in vestments.

When we celebrate a more solemn Vespers in the Seminary, only the celebrant is wearing a cope (and altar servers in albs), nobody else is vested.
