In what way does heresy make a person non-Catholic

I am baptized Catholic. Over my life I have said things opposed to the Catholic Church… does this mean I am not Catholic since I have committed heresy since Confession? Would I have to go to RCIA? Can I go to Mass? Can I pray with Catholics?

I’m kind of worried on this one.

The Catholic Church is all about forgiveness so yes you can. Go to confession and tell the priest your sins and you’ll be fine. Everyday is a new beginning keep praying and living out your faith. God Bless!
