Just something I was wondering…I assume in Europe, but which country exactly? I feel like I’ve read it’s in France or Spain, or possibly Italy, but I’m not sure. Thanks for your time!

I dont know but I’d guess France, French Switzerland or the USA

At least from all the countries I’ve visited the NO had no problems, the translations were good, and communion rails and high alters weren’t ripped out. The USA suffered from translations, nostalgia, and the worst one of all… the “spirit of vatican II”.
And the French have always been schismatics in the Church. Your sedevecantist and your SSPX call this place home.
Some places in the world still even do Od orientum in the NO mass. I might be completely wrong so take it with the grain of salt

I just looked it up and found out indeed there is a French Switzerland. Also German, Italian, and Romansh Switzerlands. Intriguing.

What is “Romansh Switzerland”?

The SSPX is not “based” in France, nor is she schismatic. I’m reasonably certain that the French as apeople are not schismatic either.

Thanks for the lesson, Pro. Interesting. I wonder if the Romanish language is kind of like the French Langue d’Oc? A latinized native/ancient language?

It is about a year old

  4. Italy: 73 out of 86 (84.9%)

I’Would Econe be in French Switzerland? I couldn’t find it on the map.
Yes, it’s definitely in what is called la Suisse-Romande (French-speaking). If I remember correctly, it’s in Geneva Canton.

Yes and no. It’s a variant of Latin in its own right. As is Occitan, as is Provençal, as is Catalan, etc.

Considering how much bigger the USA is compared to the other nations listed, I can’t imagine we have more availability in terms of the mileage involved in getting to these Masses.
