Dear God, Heavenly father I turn to you in prayer for MariaChristi`s niece who passed away 13 years ago from lung cancer that you may let her in to Your Kingdom and give her eternal Peace.
Dear God let her time in purgatory be as short as possible.
You are the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. in Your hands I surrender my soul. You are the creator of every living thing. Hold your hands over us. Through Him Christ Our Lord.

Thank you so much for your continued prayer for my niece and her family. Please pray especially for one of her daughters who recently told me she has “given up” on the Catholic Church (her words). It was a heartbreak for me to read her e-mail, and while I understand that there may be some anger, remaining in her heart having lost her mother, she now is experiencing a culture more and more anti Christian and anti Catholic in particular. She has become a “Deist” which according to her way of thinking, it seems to me, allows her to be an independent “thinker” unbound by any principles like the 10 Commandments or the Beatitudes. Again, I cannot read her heart as only God can, but as I read her e-mails, she seems to think she is free to form an image of a God she can “approve of”-- one according to her own image and likeness. She is part of a growing secularist society but she is also a baptized Catholic who needs to return Home to our Father.

Your prayers for her are very much appreciated, and I am trusting in God’s Grace for the words to put on my Christmas card to her. May The Lord help all of us to reach out with His Love to all those in need of His Grace. Thanks again so very much for your prayers. My niece who died was my Godchild, and her middle name was Mary. Prayers to Mary are especially meaningful to me, for I know that all graces come through her hands. You and all those God has placed into your hands are likewise in my prayers.

I am happy to pray for her, what’s her first name?
It helps me to know her name when praying for her.
I hope this is just a phase she is going through, when life is challenging the last thing we should do is to let go of our faith.

May God in his endless wisdom and kindness speak to her heart and bring her back to his church.

Dear MarianCatholic,

Thanks so much for your prayers for my niece who passed away and for her family. They are in much need of prayer: her husband and her two daughters especially. May the Lord heal their hearts and bring them into deeper relationship with Him, through Mary.
 
Praying that the Lord may grant healing and all necessary to your niece’s husband and her daughters. Also praying for the repose of the soul of your niece.
