In your opinon do you think that the liberalism and Church abuse of today will die out soon?

To expand on that I’m speaking in terms of liberalism as in the rift between traditional Roman Catholics and people who speak with a “free mind” due to the lack of explanation in most documents of the Vatican II Age.

Just curious what you have to say.

I think it will, maybe in the next 50 years, 100 years at the most.

Yes, I think it will.

However, Satan will continue to assault the Church, just as he always has. (I’m not calling the NO mass satanic, but abuses and the all to often attempts to pervert the Eternal Truth).

Maybe in another 50 years. Cafeteria Catholicism is spirit numbing and completely empty. I am convinced there are so many unhappy, unfulfilled Catholics walking around because they are receiving the Eucharist unworthily.

I wish you guys would read a little about Church history. Then maybe you will see that the changes from Vatican 2 were actually restorations from a tradition that is older that 1570 A.D. What we see today is nothing new to the Church. Sometimes the Church has had periods of change.

I also wish some of you would not be so judgmental, self-righteous, critical, superior, think they know the mind of Christ etc.

Also please read some threads and posts that already exist on topics such as this and other related topics. It would save extra and unnecessary threads and posts.

It isn’t VII or the new liturgy, but outright novelties.

What we see in the Church documents is not new (VII had no new dogma anyway), but what people see in some churches is very new and very against Catholic teaching.

The Church is forever. It has no changes in dogma.

Same to you? 🙂

Is your post unnecessary or only that of others? This is a large forum isn’t it? Repeat threads happen.

Hi. Yes it will. Keep your faith strong with the Lord and The Church with all your fellow believers in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and The Holy Spirit and our Blessed Mother Mary. Peace be with you always.

In my humble opinion, my humility far exceeds everyone else’s 😃

As the culture of the West grows more extreme in normalizing what, in the past, were moral outrages such as gay rights, ubiquitous pornography, abortion, euthanasia, the core of the Church will react by becoming more faithful. But it will also shrink. On the other hand, what remains will be a very faithful and reliable core. But the Church will be very different.
