Inadvertantly hurt a friend

So, I suffer from a bad case of foot in mouth and keyboard in mouth, if online. I had a friend who was about to enter into a rough time and I wanted to comfort him. Then some setback occured to me and I was devastated and he was willing to listen to me. I said something that I should not have and he’s been worried sick. I sent him a message explaining that he does not need to worry himself sick over me, but, we only communicate online and who knows when he will be on again. I hope it’s soon, because I’m afraid of what might happen to him if he broods on this without reading that message. Please pray for him.
