Curious:
I know that Jesus did not sin. I know that His will was aligned with the Father’s.

The question is COULD HE HAVE SINNED? COULD HE have chosen against what was right and done what was wrong.

If the answer is no, then how was he tempted? The Bible says Jesus was tempted. If he was incapable of sinning, it wasn’t a real temptation. ???
I heard a wonderful explanation of the temptation in the desert that made me sit up and take notice. Jesus was tempted three times in the desert right? So were the Hebrew when they led out of bondage in Egypt. During the period that the Hebrew were in the desert they were tempted and they failed the test of the temptation. Each of the temptations of Christ in the desert were figuratively similar to the temptations that the Hebrew faced in the desert. They failed and He was victorious over Satan.

Yes, it was real temptation, and Jesus, who is God proved that God is victorious over Satan. What happened on this spiritual level is that Jesus overturned the consequences of the sin of the Hebrew in the desert.
