Incarcerated ex husband

I am in a complicated situation in which I was married to a man that was incarcerated for many years. We never consumated our marriage. We divorced eventually, but recently have tried to reconcile,(he is still incarcerated). Am I sinning to lust over him? If he was my husband, ex-husband, and now my boyfriend? What does the bible and our Catholic teaching say about this?

Yes. I’m not intelligent enough to give a great description of why this is a sin; however, I know that lust is sinful no matter what. Even if the person is your spouse.
