Incense.

Does anyone use incense with prayer or devotion? I’ve seen it used in other religions and I know it is used in the Mass sometimes. But is it permissible to use an incense stick or cone and make the sign of the cross over like our prayer books or a Mother Mary statue before prayer? I have my statue of Mother in my corner with a Jesus candle and my Rosary and a small vial of Holy Water. I would like to burn incense during prayer with Her but didn’t know if it was allowed to cross ourselves and/or Her statue with it.

I use incense regularly (i use either the resin sticks or the traditional charcoal). I don’t really see the need to cross any object or oneself, I suppose you could if you wanted to.
