Marriage is supposed to expand your family, and marrying a close relative would not do that.
Not to mention the various birth defects. Incest makes your recessive traits more prominent and causes problems to the children born from those relationships.
Also, it is not fair to the child to have to grow up knowing he/she is the product of incest.
