This is NOT a place for criticizing me (a Catholic) for marrying a Protestant. This is helps and encouragements for bringing faith back into our mixed faith marriage. (Yes it used to be there!) When we married my husband attended mass with me every Sunday and attend church groups together, pray some prayers together, and read scripture together. My husband 2 years ago started attending only his Protestant church, which after seven years of going together to mass took me by surprise, although I guess it shouldn’t have. He was so much more supportive of my faith then, and tried to share it as much as he felt he could (so no communion or Mary or anything crazy like that
). Now it’s like you do your catholic thing and I will do my Protestant thing. He doesn’t like reading the bible or praying together anymore he always makes it rushed and quick. He really doesn’t have a faith life outside of his Sunday service and grace before meals. I want faith back in our lives and our marriage and I just don’t know how to go about getting it back in there!
