We provide each lay reader with a book every Ligurgical year. It covers the readings, pronunciations, etc. We also keep a Bible Dictionary at the office for words that the reader may find problematic.
That’s great. It really bothers me when native English speakers completely mispronounce things like “Ephesians”… if you get the book name wrong its not a great start . I wish all parishes would offer a little tutoring for this sort of thing.
