What do non catholic’s think about the incorruptibly of certain saints? I’m just looking for alternate explanations because I’m not sure how to look at it myself.
Orthodox Christians also have incorruptible saints like St. Spyridon, reposed in 348 ad, was one of the Bishops who participated in the one of the 1st Ecumenical Councils. What do non catholic’s think about the incorruptibly of certain saints? I was told by nonCatholics that they do not believe in the incorruptibles because God is going to give us new bodies at the end of the world, *not *before. What do non catholic’s think about the incorruptibly of certain saints? **I think that’s actually St. Dionysios of Zanthe.Orthodox Christians also have incorruptible saints like St. Spyridon, reposed in 348 ad, was one of the Bishops who participated in the one of the 1st Ecumenical Councils.
Now even though he’s been dead for centuries, he still has to have he’s shoes changed every so often be cause he wears them out at night when he leaves to answer prayers.
!
I double checked my sources before posting. St. Spyidon is the one I’m talking aboutt; however, it would not surprise me at all that another Saint is also a wonderworker as He is…wearing out the shoes**I think that’s actually St. Dionysios of Zanthe.
But incorruptibility in and of itself means nothing. Holiness of life and truth of doctrine are also necessary.
Love of Christ even unto death is also a sign, as is seen with the holy martyrs, many of whom perished by fire.**
