Increase and multiply?

can we accept that there are now not more kinds but assuredly more species or variations in conformity with the command to increase and multiply - [Gen.1:22-24] - twinc

Both humans and domestic animals have increased and multiplied, and now the other species, variations and kinds are on an alarming decrease.

Actually that is what most people do. They have a question or point to make, give their opinion and then ask for other people’s opinions.

By the way you can not require people to give you an answer. They are not under your control. You cannot require anybody to do anything.

of course you seem to ignore the request as in requested and fail to understand that required in this context should be read as expected - so please contribute - twinc

I’m waiting for your opinion on the issue you raised.

By the way, I’m curious as to why you seem to be stuck in Genesis. I think all your threads are about Genesis.

you are mostly right except imho kinds have never increased and multiplied but are fixed as at the beginning - variations and species increase and decrease - twinc

It seems others have grasped and understood why and the reason why appears in my profile as given and not hidden - I like some few others am/are a Catholic Creationist - come and join us if you dare or care - twinc

You can be whatever you wish as long as it does not contradict Church teachings.

If I remember correctly you not only believe that God created the world in 6 literal 24 hour periods but that we are required to believe that. If I remember incorrectly, my apologies. If I remember correctly then you are wrong because we do not have to believe that.

to be absolutely correct we do not have to believe anything but we will not be absolutely correct in doing so - if we are presented with two choices that do not really matter, as it were, then why choose the way out,weird and wacky one anyway whilst others choose the other original,literal and obvious one - it doesn’t really matter but really it does - twinc

While this may ?] be true. The origianl command has to do far more directly with birth issues and speaks directly for the grave abuse of contraception.

Your response is incomprehensible and does not tell me if I remembered your position on creation correctly or not.

Do you believe that creation was done in 6 literal 24 hour periods?
If so, do you believe Catholics must accept that?
