Is the way we increase our faith by partaking of the body and/or blood at Mass? This seems to be the central sacrament.

Well I try my best to pray the rosary everyday. Sometimes I miss it. But most of the time I can get in 5 decades. The Eucharist is the “Summit” of our faith. There are many ways to increase your faith through prayer, scripture, spiritual reading, etc…
Yes, I agree It has to be a real and very personal friendship. Small prayers throughout the day help us to live in a more profound spiritual state especially while we dont have time for extended prayer. In addition to the sacraments and the formal prayers, I think it’s very important to remember Jesus is within you and to talk to Him off and on throughout the day - even if it’s only to say “Hello Lord” or “I love you Lord”, but say it to Him right there within you.
Also, it’s good to take some time just to think about Him; maybe take an episode from the gospel and just live it alongside of Him; talk to Him about it; ask Him questions about it. I like to do this after I get in bed for the night. (It usually takes me awhile to fall asleep.)
For me, the above served to make Jesus very real and personal – which, in turn, made the Mass and Sacraments more real and personal.
