Individual free will, humanities free will and the quantum effects of prayer

We have individual free will to chart our individual destiny. Does the combining of all human’s free will chart the universes destiny?

Basis - we are judged individually at death (particular judgment) and then together at the 2nd coming.

**302 **Creation has its own goodness and proper perfection, but it did not spring forth complete from the hands of the Creator. The universe was created “in a state of journeying” (in statu viae) toward an ultimate perfection yet to be attained, to which God has destined it. We call “divine providence” the dispositions by which God guides his creation toward this perfection:
By his providence God protects and governs all things which he has made, “reaching mightily from one end of the earth to the other, and ordering all things well”. For “all are open and laid bare to his eyes”, even those things which are yet to come into existence through the free action of creatures.Can “total prayer” influence natural disasters?

What would be the final destiny of the universe if humanity turned atheist?

God created the universe including us with a plan in mind. His will can’t fail to achieve its goal. The future of the universe will be whatever God has design and predetermined from all eternity.

Some thoughts:
  1. The universe was perfect until it “fell” with Adam and Eve’s sin.
  2. The future of the universe is inherently tied to humanity - this is why Noah and the ark are important, humanity somehow is involved in the salvation of other creatures. We are tied to creation, and have dominion/responsibility over it.
  3. Christ came to put all back in order.
  4. By our free will we are the body of Christ.
  5. Therefore, we have some effect on the destiny of the universe.
  6. If everybody became atheist (and stayed that way), what point is there in holding Creation in existence?

#6 - my thoughts exactly. So the more atheist the world gets, we move more into darkness and corruption (natural disaster). The Blessed Virgin Mary exhorts us to pray the Rosary to prevent chastisement. I think we should heed that advice. It makes sense from both the spiritual and scientific point of view.
 
Will a cumulative worldview be able to change our observations?

The double slit experiment shows the effects of the observer. When standing at the edge of a pond what determines whether the photon reflects off the surface or the bottom of the pond? The observer.

So can the cumulative worldview affect what we can or cannot see? Can things remain hidden? Could the ancients see halos and moderns cannot?

Are we blinded by our own worldview? Does God allow us to be “misguided” in our understanding of creation because of unbelief?

The question is - can prayer influence quantum indeterminacy.

In other words can the prayer of oberver/s influence the outcome of events.
 
We are only in control of our own actions, thoughts, and words.

Nature is beholden to God, not to man. We are called by God to study, theorize, and respect nature, but we cannot control it.

Prayer in itself does not influence outcomes. God does such through answering prayer.

If prayer in itself influenced outcomes, then I could pray to a water bottle, and I would still get whatever I asked.

God gives and allows free will.
In that sense we are called to be faithful to a fully informed conscience.
If we say NO to that, we change our own destiny.

Good point.

Some theorize that God acts in nature at the quantum level so I was wondering if God answers or allows it at the quantum level.

Possibly but not necessarily. It would be better not to use the word " quanturm " is this type of discussion. Some people might think we are mixing science and religion.
I doubt is God would be interested in prayers about the outcome of a physics experiement. He is however interested in our prayers about things that matter.
